Spring semester only classes
Believe it or not, the first semester is almost over! A few second semester only classes will begin after we return from Christmas break. If you are interested in signing your student up for one of these classes, and have not already done so, please email the office or stop in to register. The descriptions are below.
Geography 2: Thursdays 9:30-10:25, Melanie O’Sullivan, 1/2 high school credit
cost: $30 deposit + $125.00 class fee
Geography will be offered the second semester for grades 8-12. The course will be based upon Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne. Students will need a copy of the book for the weekly reading assignments. The class is a level 2, with the option of a higher level ONLY for those students who successfully completed the first semester of geography.
Introduction to Psychology: Mondays 9:30-10:25, Darlene Ramsey, 1/2 credit high school
cost: $30 deposit + $125 class fee
This course will introduce students to the major areas of psychology from a Christian worldview. Topics covered include: the brain, perception, genetics, learning, history of psychology, communication, needs and motivation, personality, sleep and dreams, abnormal psychology, and careers in psychology.

Basics of Entrepreneurship: Thursday 8:30-9:25, Vicki Tillman & Kym Smythe, 1/2 high school credit
cost: $30 deposit + $125 class fee
Learn the basics of starting a business, listen to lectures from various experts in the field, and get hands-on experience through projects. This is a career exploration course. Text to be announced.
