What an incredible swim season! Winning records were achieved by both the boys team (10-0) and the girls team (9-1) and 2 team records were broken. With a time of 1:03.48, Joseph Duquette now holds the individual 100 yard Breaststroke record. He beat the previous 2018 record by 0.94 seconds. Swimming a time of 1:36.08, the 200 yard Freestyle Relay Team of Joseph Duquette, Karl Rhein, Henry Rhein, and Logan Edge crushed the previous 2015 record by 3.44 seconds. (The previous school record was held by Nathan Hunter, Nathan Rose, Josh Askren, and Jake Johnson.)
Six swimmers swam state qualifying time in individual events: Joseph Duquette (all 8 individual events), Logan Edge (all 8 individual events), Kate Rainbow (50 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke), Henry Rhein (50 Freestyle), Karl Rhein (50 Freestyle and 100 Backstroke), and Caroline Roff (50 Freestyle).
In addition to the individual events, 6 relay teams have swum combined relay times which qualified to be entered in the state championship preliminary meets. Boys relay teams with qualifying times are comprised of Joseph Duquette, Logan Edge, Nathan Joseph, Andrew Kershner, Henry Rhein, and Karl Rhein. Girls relay teams with qualifying times are comprised of Cecilia Gursky, Ava Hoffer, Maggie Magargee, Riley Moore, Kate Rainbow, Caroline Roff, and Joy Teodoro.
