Jacob Rainbow began programming at a very young age. By the age of 12, he had completed the Purdue University Computer Science AP course and passed the AP Computer Science A exam. While at the AP test at Kennett High School, he was recruited by the soon-to-be Software mentor for the Kennett High School Robotics team. Jacob programmed for the Kennett Robotics team for two years. Both years Demon Robotics went to Worlds.
Jacob has moved on from the Robotics team to other programming endeavors. He was a student-teacher while in high school, teaching Video Game Development and Computer Programming at MSA. He is currently a Software Developer for RTRT.me (Real-Time Race Tracking®) as a full-time internship before studying Computer Engineering in the Honors program at the University of DE. He is also teaching Video Game Development at Mt Sophia.
Jacob attended MSA since 8th grade and graduated Valedictorian of his class of 2021. He was active on the Swim and Soccer teams, Rhetoric, Math League, Science Olympiad, Leadership, Yearbook, Chorale, and Madrigals. He also has his black belt in Tang Soo Do and enjoys playing and performing the piano.
